Collection: All-in-One Systems

An all-in-one system – often also called a compact system – combines amplifier, streaming, and often the speakers too, in a single device or a matched set. You don't need to combine individual components: unpack it, connect to WiFi, play music.

Why an all-in-one system

Not everyone wants to put together a system out of amplifier, streamer, turntable and speakers. An all-in-one system takes that work off your hands: the components are already matched to each other, operation runs through an app, and the sound is still noticeably better than a typical off-the-shelf wireless speaker. Ideal when space, looks and simplicity matter, without having to make big compromises on sound.

What matters

What's important is the streaming sources you use (Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, internet radio), the connections for TV or turntable, the room size and, of course, the sound. At HD Zürisee in Wädenswil we first listen to how and where you listen to music, and then look for the system that suits your room and your sources – from the compact unit for the shelf to the high-quality complete system for the living room.

Who it's for – and straight talk

All-in-one systems are for anyone who wants good sound without a stack of devices and cable clutter – for the living room, bedroom, office or as a second system. If you want to selectively upgrade individual components later, a classic system made of separate parts gives you more flexibility.

Straight talk: A good all-in-one system sounds better than most people expect – but a comparably priced system of separate components ultimately gets a bit more out of it and can be expanded more freely. You trade a slice of maximum sound and flexibility for simplicity and living-room friendliness. For many people, that's exactly the right deal.

Verdict: The most elegant solution for good sound in a small space. A well-thought-out all-in-one system gets you to grown-up HiFi sound with minimal effort – and looks good in the living room to boot.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference to a wireless speaker?

A simple wireless speaker is trimmed for convenience. An all-in-one HiFi system puts significantly more emphasis on sound quality, has better amplifier technology, often more connections, and supports high-resolution streaming services. The difference in sound is audible.

Can I connect my TV?

Many systems have a TV input, often via HDMI or optical. In that case the system replaces the TV speakers and makes the film sound noticeably better too. We make sure the right connection is present when selecting the system.

Do I need extra speakers?

That depends on the system. Some all-in-one systems have the speakers built in, others come as a set with matching speakers. Both are already matched to each other – you don't have to piece anything together yourself.

Which streaming services are supported?

That depends on the model. Good systems can handle Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, internet radio and often AirPlay or Bluetooth. Tell us what you use, and we'll choose a system that covers your services cleanly.

Can I expand an all-in-one system later?

To a degree. Often further rooms can be added via multiroom, or a source connected. If you want to selectively upgrade individual components, a classic system gives you more flexibility – we'll advise you on what suits your plans.

Why buy an all-in-one system from HD Zürisee?

Because we first listen to how and where you listen to music, and then recommend the system that really fits – instead of simply the best-selling model. On request we set it up for you and explain how to operate it. We deliver throughout Switzerland – free shipping from CHF 190.
