The Advance Paris X-i75 is a Class AB integrated amplifier with a built-in 24/192 D/A converter, asynchronous USB input, MM phono preamp and switchable Hi Bias stage.
2×75 watts into 8 ohms, 2×110 watts into 4 ohms, a toroidal transformer, the typical acrylic glass front – and a connection section that has few equals in this price class. That's why the X-i75 has been the perennial favourite of the ClassicLine for years.
Why the X-i75?
Here you get a feature set that other manufacturers charge extra for: a D/A converter with a low-jitter AK4113 receiver, an asynchronous USB-B input with an X-MOS processor and Wolfson WM8740 converter for hi-res up to 24 bit/192 kHz straight from a computer, plus phono for your turntable – all as standard. The magazine hifitest.de tested the X-i75 together with the X-CD5 CD player and appreciated the combination of a classy appearance and powerful sound.
The Hi Bias circuit runs the first watts with increased idle current – near-Class-A, fine and low in distortion at room volume. And under the hood sits a proper toroidal transformer instead of a bargain-bin power supply: with 2×110 watts into 4 ohms, this slim Frenchman also drives larger floorstanders.
What you hear
Substance with good manners. The X-i75 plays with more force than its slim build suggests: the bass has punch and stays well-defined nonetheless, voices sit tangible in the centre, and the treble resolves well without becoming fatiguing. Via the USB input, your computer becomes a serious source – hi-res files sound more open and calmer than through any adapter on your laptop's headphone jack. With Hi Bias activated, the sound gains noticeably in smoothness at quiet volumes.
Who is the X-i75 suited for?
For anyone running a system with mixed sources: turntable, CD player, computer, TV via Toslink – all in one device, without an external converter and without an external phono stage. From bookshelf speakers up to medium-sized floorstanders, it's an assured partner.
To be clear, who it's not for: Bluetooth isn't built in but is an optional plug-in module – if you want to play wirelessly from your phone, budget for that separately. Network streaming, meaning Spotify or Qobuz directly in the device, is likewise not something the X-i75 offers; for that there are our streaming amplifiers or a separate streamer on the digital input. And MC cartridges need an external preamp.
Our verdict
The X-i75 is the Swiss Army knife moment of the ClassicLine – sorry, the French one: an amplifier, a phono stage and a full-fledged D/A converter in one slim chassis. If you want to enter smart and not need to upgrade again in two years, you've found it here.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much power does the Advance Paris X-i75 have?
The X-i75 delivers 2×75 watts RMS into 8 ohms and 2×110 watts into 4 ohms. Thanks to its toroidal transformer and Hi Bias circuit, it drives the vast majority of speakers on the market with authority – from bookshelf speakers to medium-sized floorstanders.
Does the X-i75 have a built-in DAC?
Yes. An AK4113 with low-jitter technology converts signals from two coaxial and one optical input at up to 24 bit/192 kHz. The asynchronous USB-B input uses an X-MOS processor with a Wolfson WM8740 converter – ideal for hi-res playback straight from a computer. An external converter isn't needed.
Does the Advance Paris X-i75 have Bluetooth?
Not from the factory – Bluetooth is added via an optional plug-in module: the X-FTB01 with aptX or the X-FTB02 with aptX HD. The module goes into the dedicated port on the rear and hands the signal digitally to the amplifier's built-in converter.
Can I connect a turntable to the X-i75?
Yes, the X-i75 has a built-in phono stage for MM cartridges with 2.5 mV sensitivity and 47 kΩ input impedance. An external phono preamp isn't needed. For MC cartridges you additionally need a step-up transformer or a suitable external preamp.
Can I connect headphones to the X-i75?
Yes, there's a 6.35 mm jack on the front. That's plenty for most HiFi headphones. If you run particularly high-impedance models or want to squeeze out the last bit of performance, hang a dedicated headphone amp off the X-i75's pre-out.
