The Loewe Stellar 97 DR+ is a 97-inch OLED TV with a META panel, an integrated 300-watt sound system, and an aluminium housing just 70 millimetres thin – home cinema scale in the form factor of a picture on the wall.

What you get

An integrated 300-watt sound system that carries this screen size acoustically too – voices, effects, and bass come with real force straight from the TV itself, not from a thin plastic speaker. The built-in DR+ recorder with a 1TB SSD records silently and freezes the running programme if guests ring the bell earlier than announced. Two full-featured HDMI 2.1 inputs take console and source devices, plus Vidaa U9 with all the major apps on board – all in a housing just 70 millimetres thin that sits flush with the wall like a large-format picture.

With the update to Loewe os9 U9.6, which Loewe says it will roll out automatically via internet update between October and December 2026, depending on the model variant, the TV steps it up once more: the TV speaker runs in parallel with the digital optical audio output and with Bluetooth speakers or subwoofers, Bluetooth LE with LC3 improves sound and lip sync, the programme guide (EPG) shows preview images and cast details, and the Xbox Cloud Gaming app as well as the AI features Movie Agent and Photo are added. Recordings are now indicated by the familiar red dot, and several bugs affecting recording, timeshift and series recordings have been fixed. Good to know: simultaneous playback via HDMI eARC or SPDIF devices (e.g. soundbars) and Bluetooth speakers remains disabled because of signal delay differences.
