Collection: Streaming

A streaming amplifier combines a network player, D/A converter and power amp in one device – music from your home network, from Qobuz, Tidal or internet radio, straight to the speakers, without a separate source.

In this category you'll find three types: pure network streamers without their own power amp (for anyone who just wants to connect an existing system to the network), streaming amplifiers with a built-in power amp for a complete all-in-one setup, and streaming preamplifiers for anyone who already owns a power amp or wants to combine one deliberately. From compact entry-level units to reference amplifiers for the big listening room, HD Zürisee in Wädenswil has plenty on offer – we carry MOON, NAD, AVM, Advance Paris, Argon Audio and other brands in-house.

Important to know: a streaming subscription is an option, not a requirement. Every device here also plays internet radio and files from your home network completely without subscription fees – Spotify, Qobuz or Tidal come on top if you want them, not because you have to.

Which device suits your room, your speakers and your existing system is a question that's settled faster on the phone or in conversation than by scrolling through spec sheets – get in touch, we'll advise you independently of the brand you already have in mind.

Frequently asked questions

Do I absolutely need a subscription for a streaming amplifier?
No. Internet radio, files from a network server or USB stick run without a subscription. Qobuz, Tidal or Spotify Connect are additional options, not a must.

What's the difference between a streamer and a streaming amplifier?
A streamer only delivers the digital signal to an existing power amp. A streaming amplifier already has the power amp built in and drives the speakers directly.

Why buy streaming devices from HD Zürisee?
We know these devices from everyday use, not just from spec sheets, and advise you on room, speaker match and multiroom – get in touch by phone, WhatsApp or email.
