SONOROUS

Sonorous builds Hi-Fi and TV furniture where design and function come together – glass, aluminium and clean lines, with an eye on cable routing and ventilation. Lowboards, TV floor stands and speaker stands that carry your system and make it look good. At our shop on Lake Zurich, assembled ready to go if you wish.

Important for shipping: The TV lowboards (Elements and Studio) come to you fully assembled and therefore travel by freight forwarder – for this we charge a flat CHF 100.–, and our otherwise usual free delivery from CHF 190.– unfortunately does not apply here. TV floor stands and speaker stands are not affected and are delivered as usual (free from CHF 190.–, otherwise a CHF 20.– flat fee).

The Sonorous range at our shop

• TV lowboards – wide glass sideboards for TVs and electronics, some with an acoustically transparent front for a soundbar hidden behind it.
• TV floor stands – rolling, swiveling floor stands made of glass and aluminium for TVs without drilling into the wall.
• Speaker stands – glass stand pairs that bring bookshelf speakers to the right height.

Honestly speaking

Sonorous is design plus function – that costs more than a cheap rack, but you get stability and thoughtful build quality. What matters is paying attention to weight limit and ventilation: heavy power amps and warm devices need the right model. That's exactly what we look at with you before anything is ordered.

Frequently asked questions about Sonorous

How much weight does a Sonorous piece of furniture carry?

It varies by model. Tell us your devices – especially heavy power amps or turntables – and we'll pick the correctly sized furniture.

Is there enough room for ventilation?

With the right choice of model, yes. For heat-generating devices we make sure there are open compartments and sufficient air circulation.

Do you assemble the furniture?

On request we deliver and assemble, put your system in place and route the cables neatly. Just ask us.

Why does shipping cost CHF 100.– for the TV lowboards?

The lowboards (Elements and Studio) are fully assembled and therefore too bulky for our normal parcel shipping – delivery goes through a furniture freight forwarder and costs a flat CHF 100.–, regardless of order value. TV floor stands and speaker stands, on the other hand, we deliver disassembled in a parcel – here free delivery from CHF 190.– applies as normal, otherwise a CHF 20.– flat fee. For pickup at our shop in Wädenswil, the freight fee does not apply.
