The NuPrime Pure AC-4E is a high-quality AC power conditioner with four outlets that supplies your hi-fi chain with filtered, lower-noise power.

It is the more compact sibling of the Pure AC-6: same idea, four slots instead of six, flexibly divided. Multi-stage filtering keeps high-frequency interference (EMI/RFI) out of the power supply – whether you hear that as a darker background depends on your mains and your system.

Why the Pure AC-4E?

Clean power is the invisible foundation of every system. The Pure AC-4E reduces AC noise by more than 20 dB (5th-order LC filter) and stays flexible: you can connect four high-power devices – or mix two high-power and two low-power outlets. That way the power amplifier gets its strong supply, while the DAC and streamer are fed from filtered outlets.

Honestly: A power conditioner does not conjure up missing detail – it tidies up the interference your mains brings in. How big the effect is depends on your mains and your components. And a note we won't keep from you: the AC-4E is the EU version with Schuko outlets – that suits the Schuko plugs most hi-fi devices carry anyway; for Swiss T13 plugs, plan on an adapter depending on the device. What is the difference between the Pure AC-4E and the AC-6?
The AC-4E offers four outlets, the AC-6 six. Both filter on the same principle, with separate treatment of high-power devices and sources. The AC-4E is the more compact, more affordable solution for medium-sized chains; the AC-6 has more slots for extensive systems.

Will my power amplifiers lose dynamics with the Pure AC-4E?
No. That is exactly what the separate filtering is for: high-power devices such as power amplifiers get their strong supply, while the filters take care of the sensitive sources. That way dynamics and quietness are preserved at the same time.

How many devices can I connect?
Four – either four high-power devices or a mix of two high-power and two low-power outlets. That is enough for a compact chain of source, preamplifier and power amplifier. For larger systems, the Pure AC-6 is the better choice.

Does the AC-4E fit a Swiss wall socket?
