The Ortofon SPU Classic N E is a moving-coil cartridge with a nude elliptical stylus in a housing-free SPU-N format – the higher-resolution variant of the Classic N.

Same light N format as the Classic N, but with an elliptical instead of a spherical grind for more detail in the upper registers.

The nude elliptical stylus extracts more fine detail from the groove than the spherical variant, in the same light 13 g cartridge body – ideal for tonearms too light for the integrated SPU-G models.
