The bFly-Audio Talis Pro is an absorber foot for speakers and devices that combines cork-rubber and Sorbothane in two separate layers and is supplied as a 4-pack.
In the Talis range it sits between the Basic and the larger Elite – and so hits exactly the point where decoupling becomes audible without you having to rebuild half your system.
Why the Talis Pro?
In addition to the Basic's cork-rubber ring, the Pro adds a disc of the polymer Sorbothane, separated from the cork-rubber ring by a foil-like insert (purple). That very separation is the trick: each layer works in a different frequency range, and together they cover more than any single material could. The body is made of aluminum, and a glider insert made of POM sits on the underside.
What you gain
More calm in the sound, more clearly outlined voices, a soundstage that doesn't wander. The POM glider distributes the vibrations towards the floor and still lets you align the speaker millimeter by millimeter without scratching parquet or tiles. Usable under floorstanding speakers, stands, racks and subwoofers – anywhere structure-borne noise looks for its way into the floor.
Who is the Talis Pro for – and who is it not for?
Ideal for you if full-grown floorstanding speakers stand on a resonance-prone wooden floor and you want to get the last bit out of a cleanly built chain. Straight talk: on a solid concrete floor without a resonance issue, the effect is smaller. And if you're just starting out, you'll already do very well with the Talis Basic – it has cork-rubber and the POM glider, but no Sorbothane. The step up to the Pro is audible, but subtle, not spectacular.
Our verdict
The Talis Pro is the point where decoupling stops being a matter of faith: two cleanly separated absorber layers, a practical glider, a result you don't have to go looking for. Hand on heart – if your speakers stand on a wooden floor and have never been decoupled, you're leaving precision on the table. Which size and which thread suit your speakers, you choose right here on the page – or we're happy to work it out with you at HD Zürisee in Wädenswil: phone, email or WhatsApp is all it takes.
What the trade press says: "The Talis Pro already provide noticeably more calm, contour and space" – Alfredo Mascia, HiFi-IFAs, 19.07.2026.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Talis Pro and Talis Basic?
The Pro has an additional Sorbothane layer. In the Basic there is only cork-rubber above the POM glider; in the Pro a Sorbothane disc is added, separated by a foil-like purple insert. Two layers work more broadband than one – you hear that above all as more calm in the mids.
Which size do I need – M or L?
The weight per set decides. Talis M measures 42 mm in diameter and carries up to 50 kg per set, Talis L measures 55 mm and carries up to 400 kg per set. For normal floorstanding speakers M is usually enough; heavy behemoths, racks or subwoofers take L.
Can I move the speakers with the Talis Pro fitted?
Yes, that's what the glider is for. The POM insert on the underside distributes the vibrations and at the same time lets the speaker glide instead of digging into the floor. So you can fine-tune the alignment without unscrewing the feet again or damaging the floor covering.
Which thread do I need, and does a different one cost extra?
The standard is M8, screws of 15 and 25 mm are included – covered by the price. You select M6, M10 or M12 directly here on the product page, surcharge CHF 20 per set; the M8 fine thread for USM Haller furniture costs a CHF 30 surcharge per set. If your speaker has no thread at all, you simply place the absorbers underneath. That way the Talis Pro covers practically any speaker and any rack.
Why buy the bFly-Audio Talis Pro from HD Zürisee?
Because decoupling has to fit the system, not the brochure. We work out with you whether the Pro really brings something on your floor and with your speakers, or whether the Basic is enough. Plus thread and size chosen correctly, with advice drawn from many years of practice in Wädenswil. Get in touch by phone, email or WhatsApp.
Goes well with
You'll find the floorstanding speakers for which the Pro is worthwhile under floorstanding speakers; bookshelf speakers are combined with suitable speaker stands. For the electronics there is HiFi furniture, for the room itself acoustics – and further absorbers and bases are under decoupling.
