The Yamaha NS-AW592 is the flagship of the AW outdoor range – the largest, most powerful all-weather speaker in the lineup, for larger terraces, garden areas or poolside. Supplied as a pair including brackets and rubber feet.
The 16 cm woofer with waterproof cone and the 1-inch dome play powerfully and cleanly, even at higher levels. A weatherproof aluminum grille and rugged 5-way screw terminals are built for continuous outdoor use. Thanks to the rubber feet, the 592 also works as a stand/shelf speaker indoors.
Straight talk
If you want real level and fullness outdoors, this is the right choice – the 592 is the most powerful AW variant. The flip side: it's also the largest and most visible in the range. If the speaker should stay as inconspicuous as possible, the slim 392 is the better choice. As with all outdoor models: mount it protected, not in standing water.

Frequently asked questions
What area is the NS-AW592 suited for?
Larger terraces or garden areas. Thanks to 150 W power handling and a 16 cm woofer, it delivers significantly more level and bass than the smaller AW models.
Can I also set up the 592 indoors?
Yes. With the included rubber feet it also works as a shelf or table speaker, e.g. in a hobby room or workshop.
Are the connections suitable for outdoors?
Yes, the weatherproof 5-way screw terminals also accept thicker cable and are designed for outdoor use. We still recommend protected mounting.
Why buy the NS-AW592 from HD Zürisee?
Because we'll tell you honestly whether the large NS-AW592 is really necessary or whether the slimmer NS-AW392 is enough for your terrace. We know both models from our own experience and, at HD Zürisee in Wädenswil, we also advise on the right, protected outdoor mounting.
