Rega Turntable Wall Bracket, Black

The Rega wall bracket in black is a wall-mounted shelf for turntables made from laser-cut aluminium that decouples your deck from floor resonances and footfall.

On wooden floors or in older buildings with springy boards in particular, wall mounting brings audibly more calm to the sound – often the most affordable improvement to your setup there is. Rega offers the bracket in black and white; this is the black version.

Why the Rega wall bracket in black?

A black Planar deserves a black bracket: it looks like one piece and recedes visually against dark walls or furniture. The sound benefits because the floor no longer plays along.

Rega has completely redesigned the current bracket: according to the manufacturer it is 1.2 kg lighter and stiffer than its predecessor, and it can be adjusted on uneven walls.

Which size do you need?

There are two versions. The larger one for Planar 1, 2, 3 and 6 (3 mm aluminium) also carries many older Rega models. The compact one for Planar 8 and Planar 10 (2 mm aluminium) is made for their skeletal plinth. Choose the right variant above.

Who is the Rega wall bracket for – and who is it not for?

For anyone who wants to run a Rega turntable on a load-bearing wall and struggles with footfall or a springy floor. It is not suitable for plasterboard walls without reinforcement, and the small P8/P10 bracket does not fit the RP8 or RP10. Let's be honest: wall mounting is not a spur-of-the-moment decision, but one you do properly once.

Which wall bracket fits my Rega turntable?

The “For Planar 1/2/3/6” variant fits Planar 1, 2, 3 and 6 as well as many older Rega models. The more compact “For Planar 8/10” variant is built for the current Planar 8 and Planar 10. For the RP8 and RP10 you need the large bracket plus screw-fit adaptors, which we are happy to source for you.

Is the Rega wall bracket also available in white?

Yes, Rega offers both sizes in black and white. In our shop these are two separate products; the function is identical. Simply choose the colour that suits your wall and turntable better – and order the matching size.

Does the bracket fit any wall?

It needs a load-bearing wall (masonry or a sturdy solid-wood wall) – we advise against plasterboard walls without continuous reinforcement. If in doubt, we look at the situation with you and tell you honestly whether the wall is up to it.
