Rega Plug-in Power Supply

Original replacement for the small Rega wall plug-in power supply that powers many phono preamps and entry-level decks.

PS1 (350 mA) powers the Fono MM, Fono MC, and the Neo PSU; PS2 (100 mA) powers the Planar 1, Planar 2, Planar 3 decks and the Fono Mini A2D. An unassuming but important part – if it breaks or goes missing during a move, the device is left non-functional with no replacement.

How do I know whether I need PS1 or PS2?

PS1 belongs to the Fono MM/MC phono preamps and the Neo PSU, PS2 to the Planar 1–3 decks and the Fono Mini A2D. If in doubt, tell us your device and we'll tell you the right variant.

Can I use any power supply with the same voltage?

Voltage alone isn't enough – polarity, current rating, and plug diameter all need to match exactly, otherwise you risk hum or damage. We recommend the original Rega power supply.
