The NAD C3030 is a stereo integrated amplifier in retro design that combines 2× 50 watts, an MM phono stage, HDMI eARC and Bluetooth aptX HD in one chassis with illuminated VU meters.
The VU needles of the seventies, the connections of today – and everything a stereo system needs for the living room is already built in.
Why the NAD C3030?
Because here you get a complete, honest stereo system in a beautiful chassis. The HybridDigital power stage delivers a controlled 2× 50 watts, while staying cool and quiet – exactly the qualities you'd want in a good relationship, too. Phono is built in from the factory, HDMI eARC brings the TV on board, and the illuminated VU meters are the most beautiful volume display there is.
What you get
The C3030 brings the analogue and digital worlds together: a low-noise MM phono stage for the turntable, one optical and one coaxial digital input each, HDMI eARC for the TV (volume via the TV remote), and Bluetooth aptX HD for your smartphone. A USB-A port, a subwoofer output with 80 Hz bass management and a headphone output round things off.
Who is the NAD C3030 suited for – and who isn't it for?
Ideal if you want a complete, beautiful stereo system for conscious listening, without fussing over streaming setup. Straight talk: the 2× 50 watts are made for normal living rooms and most bookshelf and compact speakers, not for filling large halls. And if you want built-in WLAN streaming with BluOS, go for the C3030S – it already has the module built in.
Our verdict
The C3030 is the more affordable retro doorway into the NAD range: genuine NAD hardware, phono and HDMI from the factory, VU meters to fall in love with. An honest, good-looking complete system for the living room – you add streaming only once you actually need it.

Frequently asked questions
Does the NAD C3030 have a phono input?
Yes. The C3030 has a low-noise MM phono stage built in from the factory. You connect a turntable with a moving-magnet cartridge directly, with no separate phono preamp. For MC cartridges you need an additional stage. So vinyl is on board from the very first minute.
Is the NAD C3030 a streamer?
No. The C3030 has no built-in network streaming. You play wirelessly via Bluetooth aptX HD from your smartphone, in analogue via phono and line, digitally via optical and coaxial, and the TV via HDMI eARC. If you want built-in WLAN streaming with BluOS, get the C3030S.
Can I connect my TV to the C3030?
Yes, via the HDMI eARC input. You connect the TV with a cable and control the volume directly with the TV remote. That gives your TV the stereo sound the built-in TV speakers never deliver – ideal for films, series and concerts.
What speakers suit the NAD C3030?
With 50 watts into 8 and 4 ohms, the C3030 confidently drives most bookshelf and compact floorstanding speakers in small to medium-sized rooms. For very large rooms or low-efficiency speakers we recommend a step up. We're happy to help you work out which speaker suits your room.
