Can I also use the set for shellac records?

No, at least not the record cleaning fluid. Included is Pure Groove, an alcohol-based vinyl cleaner that attacks shellac made from natural resin. For 78s you additionally need an approved fluid such as Pure Groove Shellac. You can still use the brushes, stylus cleaner and tool from the set.

How do I clean the stylus correctly?

Always from back to front, in the direction of tracking – never sideways and never against the direction of travel, otherwise the cantilever can bend. For the dry routine, use the stylus brush; for stubborn residue, use "Elixir of Sound" sparingly. Less fluid is almost always more here.

Does the set also suit turntables from other brands?

Yes. The brushes, cleaners and screwdriver aren't limited to Clearaudio turntables and work on any turntable with a classic cartridge. The acrylic cleaner is specifically intended for acrylic parts – test it on an inconspicuous spot first on lacquered or veneered surfaces.
