Supplied as a pair including a swivel bracket.

The waterproof 16 cm cone delivers rich mids and a mature bass, while the 2.5 cm dome provides clear highs. Well protected against the weather: drip-, splash- and UV-resistant housing (IPx3) and a powder-coated metal grille.

Straight talk

The mid-size model in the AW range – a good compromise between level, bass and physical size for a normal terrace. It's not meant to be, and isn't, a full-fledged HiFi floorstanding speaker for the living room; but outdoors it performs confidently and without fuss. Mount it protected (under an eave), not in constant rain.

Technical overview

Type: 2-way bass reflex, weatherproof (outdoor/indoor)

Woofer: 16 cm (6.5") waterproof cone

Tweeter: 2.5 cm (1") liquid-cooled, coated dome

Frequency response: 80 Hz – 20 kHz

Power handling: 50 W nominal / 100 W max.

Sensitivity: 87 dB (2.83 V / 1 m)

Impedance: 8 Ω

Weather protection: IPx3 (drip-, splash- and UV-resistant)

Housing: HIPS, powder-coated metal grille

Mounting: U-bracket, 81° swiveling (vertical/horizontal)

Connection: push terminal

Dimensions (W×H×D): 190 × 308 × 217 mm, 2 kg each

Package contents: pair including mounting bracket

Color: black

Frequently asked questions
<details>
How big can the terrace be?

A pair of NS-AW294 is plenty for a normal terrace or seating area.
