vincentsa32si
Vincent SA-32 AE Hybrid Preamplifier Silver

The Vincent SA-32 AE is a limited hybrid preamplifier that Vincent is releasing for the 30th anniversary of the PowerLine series – limited worldwide to 200 units. It combines a tube input stage with transistor technology and extends the classic analogue preamp with a full digital section featuring HDMI-ARC, Bluetooth, and optical and coaxial inputs.

Why the SA-32 AE?

Because it combines two worlds that usually stay separate: the warm, spacious sound of a tube circuit and the connectivity of a modern digital hub. Two 12AU7 tubes handle the first amplification stage and shape the fundamental character, while two E88CC tubes work in the tone control. The rest is cleanly built transistor technology with an R-core transformer and high-quality Wima and Nichicon capacitors. The result: warmth and naturalness, without sacrificing precision or bass foundation.

What you get

Limited anniversary edition – only 200 units worldwide

Hybrid circuit with tube input (2× 12AU7 + 2× E88CC) and transistor output

Five analogue RCA inputs plus one balanced XLR input

Integrated digital section with optical and coaxial input

HDMI with ARC – the TV plays directly through the system

Bluetooth for quick streaming from your smartphone

Balanced XLR and RCA preamp output for any power amplifier

Aluminium remote control VRC-14 included

Who is the SA-32 AE for?

For anyone who wants the character of a tube preamplifier but doesn't want to give up TV, streaming and digital sources – the SA-32 AE is both in one housing. Ideal when the system sits in the living room and needs to handle both a turntable and the TV. Honestly: if you're after a purely digital preamp without tube character, or the last degree of measured neutrality, a classic transistor preamp serves you more cheaply. And if you want one, don't wait too long – 200 units go fast.

Our verdict

The SA-32 AE is one of the cleverest preamps Vincent has ever built: it brings tube glow to the living room while also making your TV sound better. You won't find this combination of limited numbers, genuine tube technology and modern connectivity anywhere else in this price class. Compared to the standard SA-32, it has a larger housing, a new tube complement and a complete digital section with HDMI-ARC.

Can I connect my TV?
Yes. Via HDMI with ARC you connect the SA-32 AE directly to your TV – the TV sound then runs through your hi-fi system instead of the TV speakers. An optical and a coaxial input are also available.

Is the tube in the signal path?
Yes. Two 12AU7 tubes form the input and first amplification stage and shape the tonal character, while two E88CC tubes work in the tone control.
