viablue-nf-b-t8-subwoofer-cinchkabel
ViaBlue NF-B T8 Subwoofer Cinch Cable

The ViaBlue NF-B is a subwoofer Cinch cable with T8 Cinch connector – a single, unbalanced cable specifically designed for the bass range between a preamp or AV receiver and a subwoofer.

A solid inner conductor, designed specifically for the bass range, is insulated by a ceramic dielectric coated with a semiconducting LDPE layer. Two counter-wound spiral shields made of bare and tinned OFC copper additionally shield the signal against ground loops, before a flexible, ultra-soft audio jacket forms the outer layer. Unlike a stereo Cinch pair, the NF-B is supplied as a single cable, matching the single subwoofer input of most preamps and power amps.

What you get

You get a single NF-B cable with T8 Cinch connectors in Cobra (silver-coloured) or Black, available in six lengths from 100 to 1500 centimetres. The elaborate shielding design reduces hum and interference especially in the low-frequency range, where subwoofer cables are often routed past power supplies, power amps or long cable runs.

Who is the NF-B suitable for?

Designed for anyone who wants to connect their subwoofer to a preamp or AV receiver cleanly and without interference – especially with longer cable runs or when other cables noticeably hum. If you instead need a stereo Cinch pair for preamp to power amp or source to preamp, the NF-B is the wrong choice – our Cinch pairs like the NF-A7, NF-S1 or NF-S6 AIR are suited for that.

Our verdict

An honest specialist cable for a single purpose: keeping the subwoofer connection clean and hum-free. For everything else, there are our regular Cinch pairs – the NF-B is worthwhile exactly where a single, well-shielded cable is needed.

Technical data

Type: subwoofer Cinch cable, unbalanced, single (not a stereo pair)

Connector: T8 Cinch (RCA)

Conductor: solid inner conductor, designed for the bass range

Insulation: ceramic dielectric, semiconducting LDPE layer

Shielding: 2 counter-wound spiral shields (bare + tinned OFC copper)

Jacket: flexible, ultra-soft audio jacket

Colour: Cobra or Black

Lengths: 100 / 250 / 500 / 750 / 1000 / 1500 cm

Origin: handmade, manufactured in Germany

Frequently asked questions

Is the NF-B a stereo Cinch pair?

No, the NF-B is supplied as a single cable, matching the single subwoofer input of most preamps and power amps. For a stereo connection between two components, you need one of our Cinch pairs like the NF-A7 or NF-S1.

Why a special cable for the subwoofer?

The inner conductor and shielding are specifically designed for the low-frequency range and long cable runs, where subwoofer cables are often routed past power supplies or power amps and easily pick up ground loops. The double spiral shielding reduces exactly these interferences.

What length do I need for my subwoofer?

That depends on where your subwoofer stands in the room and where your amplifier or AV receiver is located. Measure the distance generously and choose the next-longer length rather than the exact one – a cable that's too short can't be extended afterwards.

Cobra or Black – is there a sonic difference?

No, both versions differ only in the sleeve finish, not in construction or sound. The choice is purely aesthetic and depends on your rack or component colour.

Why buy the ViaBlue NF-B at HD Zürisee?

Because we tell you whether your hum really is caused by the cable or has another cause, instead of automatically selling you the most expensive cable. HD Zürisee in Wädenswil advises on subwoofer connection and cable routing; our technician Maurizio will handle the installation on site on request.

Goes well with

You'll find more ViaBlue cables and accessories for the right system combination in our ViaBlue collection.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0932/3262/8048/files/viablue-nf-b-t8-subwoofer-cinchkabel-cobra-frontansicht.jpg?v=1788607116
