sonoroprestigesilber
Sonoro Prestige All-in-One, High-Gloss Silver (Each)

The Sonoro Prestige is a compact 2-way all-in-one music system with an integrated 4-inch subwoofer, slot-in CD player, DAB+/internet radio, Bluetooth (aptX) and streaming. It's for anyone who wants powerful stereo sound with CD and full source variety in a slim housing.

Why the Prestige?

Because it packs a lot of system into a small footprint. Two coaxial speakers and an integrated 4-inch subwoofer deliver lively stereo sound with real depth – unusual for a device this size. A latest-generation DSP keeps the sound clean, the slot-in CD player plays your discs directly, and via the optical input the Prestige becomes a stylish TV sound centre. All housed in a hand-sanded wood cabinet that looks great in your living room.

What you hear and get

Full source variety: over 25,000 internet radio stations, DAB+/FM, CD, podcasts and streaming via Spotify Connect, Amazon Music and Deezer, plus Bluetooth with aptX. Thanks to bidirectional Bluetooth, you can also send the sound to wireless headphones. Control it via the device, remote control or app; the automatically dimmable 2.8-inch colour display stays easy to read throughout. Wake-up, snooze and sleep timer functions make it a smart companion in the bedroom too.

Who is the Prestige for – and who isn't it for?

Ideal for anyone looking for a full-featured compact system with CD and noticeable bass – for the living room, bedroom or office. To be clear: if you want the big 2.1 presentation with a full-size subwoofer, go for the Meisterstück Gen.2; if you don't need a CD and want something even slimmer, go for the Elite. As a bass-strong compact system with CD, the Prestige hits exactly the middle ground.

Our verdict

A surprisingly bass-strong compact system with CD, streaming and TV connection – a lot of system in a slim housing. Not sure between Prestige, Elite and Meisterstück? Tell us how and where you listen, we'll give you an honest recommendation. That delivers noticeably more depth than pure broadband compact systems – despite the slim design.

Does it play CDs?

Yes, via a slot-in CD player (CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3-CD, WMA) with repeat and shuffle functions.
