sennheiserrrflex
Sennheiser RR Flex Additional Receiver / Battery

The Sennheiser RR Flex is an additional clip-on receiver with a built-in battery and a 3.5 mm jack connector, serving as a second receiver or replacement for the RS 5200, RS 5000, Flex 5000 and RS 2000 systems.

Honestly upfront: the RR Flex is not a standalone headphone, but the receiver you plug your own wired headphone into - and it needs a matching transmitter as a base.

Why the RR Flex?

Because it makes existing systems flexible. With the RR Flex you connect a second headphone to the same TV audio system, replace a defective receiver, or keep a spare battery in reserve. Just plug in your favourite wired headphone via the 3.5 mm jack and you're connected.

What you get

A lightweight clip-on receiver with its own Li-polymer battery, giving you around twelve hours of wireless TV sound. Practical for anyone who wants to listen as a pair or simply keep a second receiver on hand, without buying a whole second complete system.

Who is the RR Flex for?

For owners of the RS 5200, RS 5000, Flex 5000 or RS 2000 who need a second receiver or a replacement. Straight talk: without one of these systems as a base, the RR Flex is useless - it's an accessory, not a complete set. With a matching transmitter, though, it expands your system in minutes.

Our verdict

Small part, big benefit - but only with a matching base. Anyone who owns one of the systems named gets the most uncomplicated route here to a second listening spot.

Technical data

Type: additional clip-on receiver with built-in battery

Headphone connection: 3.5 mm jack (own wired headphone required)

Compatible with: RS 5200, RS 5000, Flex 5000, RS 2000

Base required: matching transmitter of the respective system (required separately)

Battery: Li-polymer, built-in, up to approx. 12 h runtime

Transmission: digital, noise-free

Scope of delivery: RR Flex clip-on receiver with Li-polymer battery, quick guide

Frequently asked questions

Is the RR Flex a complete headphone?

No. The RR Flex is a clip-on receiver to which you connect your own wired headphone with a 3.5 mm jack.
