loewestellar55dr-aluconcretetizen
Loewe Stellar 55 DR+ OLED TV, alu concrete (Tizen)

The Loewe Stellar 55 DR+ is a 55-inch OLED TV with a META panel, a genuine stone back panel, and a 144 Hz picture – a 360° design object in concrete grey that looks like a single piece from every side.

Not a faceless flat-screen block, but craftsmanship from Germany: a solid mineral back panel with a concrete look, neatly routed cables, and the understated Magic Light lighting concept. Developed and manufactured at Loewe's home site.

Why the Loewe Stellar 55 DR+?

Because OLED picture quality, gaming speed, and genuine material come together in one cabinet here. The OLED META panel controls every pixel individually and delivers the deep, light-free black level OLED is known for, calibrated at the factory – with 144 Hz and VRR for fast games and sport too. The solid stone back panel keeps the cabinet calm: nothing vibrates or rattles here.

What you get

Four full HDMI 2.1 inputs connect console, PC, and other sources without ever needing to switch cables. The built-in DR+ recorder with a 1 TB SSD records silently and freezes the current programme if guests arrive earlier than announced. Add an active 80 W sound system that fills a normal living room without a separate soundbar – and a 360° design that keeps the back so clean that the Stellar makes a statement freestanding in the room too.

Who is the Stellar 55 DR+ suited for?

For design and gaming fans who want a 55-inch OLED with genuine material and 144 Hz – on the table stand or freestanding in the room. Straight talk: the stone back panel adds weight. If you constantly move your TV around or want to hang it on a thin drywall, this isn't for you – the Stellar wants a solid spot or our professional mounting.

Our verdict

The Stellar 55 DR+ is the OLED for anyone who takes technology and material equally seriously: brilliant META picture, 144 Hz for gaming, and a back that's worth showing off. Honestly – a TV that still looks good even when it's switched off.

Award-winning: iF Design Award 2024 and Red Dot Design Award for the stellar design.

"Very good," rating 1.3 – Computer Bild, 2026 (stellar 55, Tizen).

Technical data

Display: 55 inches (139 cm) Ultra HD OLED (META), factory-calibrated

Resolution: 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K)

Refresh rate: 144 Hz, VRR

HDR: Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG

Sound: active sound system, 80 W, Dolby Atmos

Recorder: 1 TB SSD, built-in DR+ (timeshift)

Operating system: Loewe os9 (Tizen)

Chassis: Loewe SL950

Connections: 4x HDMI 2.1 (eARC), 4x USB (2x USB-C), LAN, CI+

Wireless: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay, Miracast

Tuner: DVB-T2 / DVB-C / DVB-S2 (dual)

Back panel: genuine mineral material (stone) in concrete, aluminium frame

Finish: alu concrete

Dimensions (W x H x D): 1249 x 817 x 275 mm (incl. table stand)

Weight: 19.1 kg (incl. table stand), 16.6 kg without stand

Warranty: incl. 5-year on-site warranty

What's included: Stellar 55 DR+ OLED TV (alu concrete), fixed table stand, Stellar remote control & mini remote control, power cable, quick guide

Frequently asked questions

Is the Loewe Stellar 55 DR+ good for gaming?
Yes.
