lgoledevo77g57lw
LG OLED77G57LW (CH Model)

The LG OLED77G57LW is a 77-inch OLED evo TV from LG's 2025 Gallery series (G5), combining cinema-grade 4K picture with a wall-flush design.

Here in Wädenswil we currently still have a single unit in stock – at a clearance price instead of the original list price, because the successor G6 has long been on the shelf. So the reason for the low price is simply the model year, not the picture quality.

Why the LG OLED77G57LW?

Because self-emitting OLED pixels deliver black that doesn't look grey, but is simply absent. The Brightness Booster Ultimate coaxes a peak brightness out of the panel that you wouldn't have expected from an OLED a few years ago, and the α11 AI Processor 4K Gen2 recalculates picture and sound in real time. Then there's the Gallery Design: a wall mount so slim that the TV looks more like a hung picture than a device. If you also game, up to 165 Hz VRR, G-Sync and FreeSync Premium give you a panel that won't disappoint PC and console gamers either.

What you see and hear

A high-contrast 4K picture with Dolby Vision, HDR10 Pro and HLG – bright, true to colour and without the typical OLED compromises in dark scenes. For sound, the 4.2 system with 60 watts and Dolby Atmos plays a virtual 11.1.2 surround sound via AI Sound Pro, which has decent substance for a TV but understandably can't match a real home cinema setup.

Who is the LG OLED77G57LW suited for – and who isn't it for?

Straight talk: For anyone who wants a big, wall-flush cinema picture and is flexible about the model year – technically the G5 loses barely anything compared to the current G6 in everyday living-room use, but costs significantly less. Not ideal if sound without a soundbar matters to you (bass stays modest, as with any flat OLED) or if you absolutely want the newest model year in the box. And: it's a single unit – once it's gone, there's no restock at this price.

Our verdict

Buying a discontinued model here doesn't mean making compromises – it means getting a mature, top-tier panel at a preferential price. For living rooms with a viewing distance of three to four metres and demands on both picture and gaming, the LG OLED77G57LW is currently one of the best value packages on our shop floor.

6-year Helvetic Pick-up warranty included

The LG OLED77G57LW comes with a 6-year Helvetic Pick-up warranty from us. After purchase we register the TV with the insurer free of charge – at no extra cost to you.

Technical specifications

Model: LG OLED77G57LW (G5 series, 2025)

Screen diagonal: 77 inches (196 cm)

Resolution: 4K Ultra HD (3840 × 2160 pixels)

Panel technology: OLED evo with Brightness Booster Ultimate

Picture processor: α11 AI Processor 4K Gen2

Refresh rate: 120 Hz native, up to 165 Hz variable (VRR)

HDR support: Dolby Vision, HDR10 Pro, HLG

Gaming: G-Sync compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium, ALLM

Tuner: DVB-C, DVB-S2, DVB-T2

Audio output power: 4.2-channel system, 60 watts

Sound technologies: Dolby Atmos, AI Sound Pro (virtual 11.1.2)

Connections: 4× HDMI 2.1 (VRR/ALLM), 3× USB, 1× LAN, Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi 6), Bluetooth 5.3

Design: Gallery Design for gapless wall mounting, VESA 300 × 300

Operating system: webOS 24 (4-year upgrade guarantee)

Warranty: 6-year Helvetic Pick-up warranty (free registration with the insurer by HD Zürisee)

Dimensions without stand (W×H×D): approx. 1712 × 982 × 24.8 mm

Weight without stand: approx. 33.6 kg

Included: TV, AI Magic Remote (incl. batteries), ultra-slim wall mount system, power cable, quick start guide (stand available separately)

Frequently asked questions

Is the LG OLED77G57LW still a current model?

It's the predecessor (G5, 2025) of the current G6 model year. In everyday use – picture, sound, gaming – it operates at the same high level, just at a clearance price instead of the new-model price.

How many units are there at this price?

Exactly one.
