The DSG10TY is the companion LG designed for exactly that.

Why the LG DSG10TY?

Because it's made for the G6 series: design-matched for the flush-mounted look, automatic connection via LG Sound Suite (plug in, done), and Dolby Atmos for object-based 3D sound. If you don't want a separate AV receiver, you get picture and sound from one source that speaks the same language.

What you hear

Spatial sound with Dolby Atmos that underlays the OLED's black level with a matching soundscape. Optional wireless surround speakers turn stereo into true surround – without running cables.

Who is the DSG10TY suited for – and who isn't it for?

Straight talk: The first choice if you have or are buying an LG OLED G6 and want the cleanest integration without a receiver. If you're looking for a fully built-out 9.1.5 home cinema with the maximum channel count, take a look at the DS95TR. But it delivers its full integration benefits (LG Sound Suite, design match, FlexConnect) on the LG G6 series – that's what it's built for.

Our verdict

The obvious companion to the OLED G6: matched, cleanly integrated, Dolby Atmos.
