isotek-v5-sirius-netzleiste
IsoTek V5 Sirius 6-Way Power Strip (16 A)

The IsoTek V5 Sirius is a filtered 6-way power strip with full 16 A capacity – six individually filtered outlets and an included EVO3 Premier power cable.

Sirius is the high-current variant among IsoTek's strips: a compact form factor like a power strip, but with the current capacity that powerful integrated amplifiers and active speakers actually demand. Where Polaris and Corvus are rated for 10 A, the Sirius delivers the full 16 A – without constricting the system.

Why the V5 Sirius?

A simple power strip on a powerful power amp is like a garden hose on a fire pump – at some point it just gives out. The Sirius filters each of its six outlets separately through a central cleaning network and pushes down high-frequency interference (RFI) by up to 60 dB. Plus 54,000 A of surge protection and a resettable fuse system that doesn't end up in the bin after a spike but can simply be reset. Enclosure made of extruded aluminium, internal wiring of silver-plated 6N copper.

What you hear

Calm with headroom. The Sirius noticeably lowers the noise floor without choking the power amp's current – impulses arrive as fast as the music demands. Especially on dynamic speakers, the punch is preserved while the background audibly cleans up.

Who is the V5 Sirius suited for? (and who not – plain talk)

Right for complete systems that should run off one strip but need real power-amp performance. Plain talk: if you want every source filtered individually and as elaborately as possible, you'll do better with a component conditioner like the Elektra, Aquarius or Sigmas – there, every outlet has its own fully built-out network. The Sirius is the clever strip with muscle, not a full conditioner in a component enclosure. But in its league, hardly anything matches it.

Our verdict

The V5 Sirius is the power strip for anyone who wants power-amp performance without immediately setting up a component conditioner: 16 A, six individually filtered outlets, Premier cable included. The sensible bridge between power strip and high-end conditioner.

Technical specifications

Type: filtered power/outlet strip, 16 A, 6 outlets + System Link

Mains input: 16 A IEC C20

Mains voltage: 100–240 V / 50–60 Hz

Max current: 16 A HRC

Max power: 3,680 W (16 A / 230 V)

Surge protection: 54,000 A

RFI reduction: up to 60 dB

Fuse: resettable fuse system

Internal wiring: 6N-OFC copper, silver-plated, FEP dielectric

Mounting: wall-mountable (mount included)

Dimensions (W × H × D): 88 × 55 × 555 mm

Weight: 2.0 kg

Warranty: 2 years, extendable to 3 years with registration

Included: EVO3 Premier power cable 1.5 m

Frequently asked questions

How does the IsoTek V5 Sirius differ from the Polaris?

Mainly in current capacity: the Sirius is rated for a full 16 A and comes with the higher-grade EVO3 Premier cable, the Polaris works with 10 A and the Initium cable. For power amps, the Sirius is the more suitable choice; for pure source/AV systems, the Polaris is enough.

Is a power cable included with the IsoTek V5 Sirius?

Yes. The Sirius is supplied with the higher-grade IsoTek EVO3 Premier power cable (1.5 m), matching its 16 A rating, in CH or EU version. A wall mount is included; it's ready to use right away.

Why buy the IsoTek V5 Sirius at HD Zürisee?

Because the choice between a strip and a conditioner depends on your power amps.
