isotek-evo3-genesis-netzregenerator
IsoTek EVO3 Genesis Mains Regenerator (Dual-Cell, 20 A)

The IsoTek EVO3 Genesis is a mains regenerator: it doesn't just filter your power, it recreates it entirely – a perfect 230-volt sine wave, regardless of what comes out of your wall outlet.

Genesis is the spearhead of IsoTek's Ultimate series and the world's first dual-cell sine wave generator for high-end audio. While a filter only cleans the existing mains, the Genesis builds a completely new mains voltage from two independent generator cells – clean, stable, and with a distortion figure that would bore even your best measuring instrument.

Why the EVO3 Genesis?

Two Class A/B power amplifiers of 300 watts each together generate 600 watts of freshly generated mains power with a distortion factor of just 0.03%. For comparison: the European standard allows your mains supply to fluctuate by ±10%. The Genesis holds the output voltage at 230 volts ±1–2% – whether your neighbours are vacuuming or half the street switches on the oven at once.

What you hear

When the source signal sits on a completely clean, distortion-free mains, a layer of noise you didn't know was there disappears. More calm between the notes, a deeper and more precisely layered soundstage, voices and instruments clearly separated. The Genesis is designed for front-end components with constant current demand – CD player, streamer, DAC, preamp and phono stages.

Who is the EVO3 Genesis for? (and who it's not for — straight talk)

For uncompromising high-end chains where the sources already give their maximum and only the mains still limits them. Straight talk: if you run an integrated amp and a pair of bookshelf speakers, an EVO3 Sigmas or Aquarius gets you far better value for money. The Genesis is the final upgrade stage, not the entry point.

Our verdict

Not a filter, but a power factory: the Genesis builds a new, perfect sine wave for your source devices and raises the level of a fully exploited chain right where things otherwise stop. Whoever wants the best and owns the matching components hears the difference immediately.

Technical data

Type: dual-cell mains regenerator (sine wave generator)

Regenerated power: 600 W (2× Class A/B cell, 300 W each)

Total harmonic distortion (THD): 0.03%

Stabilized output voltage: 230 V ±1–2%

Outlets: 4 independent output sockets

RFI reduction: 85 dB

Interference suppression: differential and common-mode

Resonance control: ISIS isolation system

Internal wiring: silver-plated OCC copper, FEP dielectric (virtual air dielectric)

System Link: yes (combinable with EVO3 Super Titan / Super Nova)

Dimensions (W × H × D): 500 × 300 × 500 mm

Weight: on request

Included: EVO3 Premier mains cable

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a mains regenerator and a mains filter?

A mains filter cleans the existing mains voltage. The EVO3 Genesis recreates it entirely with two independent generator cells: a perfect 230-volt sine wave with 0.03% distortion and 600 W of regenerated power, independent of the quality of your home's mains supply.

What's the difference between Genesis and Super Titan?

The Genesis regenerates power for source devices with constant demand. The Super Titan is the high-current conditioner for your power amps. Via the System Link connection the two can be combined – Genesis on top, Super Titan below – forming IsoTek's most uncompromising mains system.

Why buy the IsoTek EVO3 Genesis at HD Zürisee?

Because our HiFi roots go back to the early 90s and we honestly assess whether your chain will audibly repay a regenerator, or whether a filter from the Ultimate series is the smarter step.
