canton-atelier-inwall-11-einbaulautsprecher-schwarz
Canton Atelier InWall 11 Wall Speaker, Black (Piece)

The Canton Atelier InWall 11 is a flat 3-way in-wall speaker that makes fully grown stereo and front sound disappear into the wall plane.

In silk-matte black it becomes practically part of the surface on a dark wall or in a media panel. Behind the frameless fabric cover sits a complete 3-way system with 8.2 cm installation depth – more speaker than you'd credit a wall panel with.

Why the Atelier InWall 11?

Because Canton doesn't cut corners where it would hurt. Two 174 mm woofers in aluminium-titanium get two passive radiators alongside them, instead of simply drilling a hole for the bass and hoping for the best. Result: 32 Hz low-end extension, 89.5 dB sensitivity and 140 watts nominal power handling.

What you hear

A sound that stands in the room instead of clinging to the wall. Voices stay full-bodied, bass lines stay legible, and with film sound the InWall 11 handles bigger levels too, without turning thin or harsh. You hear music, not a construction project.

Who is the Atelier InWall 11 suited for?

For drywall and prepared solid walls, for media walls, for living spaces with a clean look. Straight talk: if you like to rearrange your setup every few months, stick with freestanding speakers – a wall opening of 28.5 × 111 cm doesn't forgive a change of mind. Canton also doesn't state approval for moisture rooms or outdoor use for the Atelier InWall series; we plan other models for those.

Our verdict

If hi-fi should stay invisible in the room without the sound disappearing with it, the Atelier InWall 11 is one of the cleanest solutions in its class. Hand on heart: most guests will only find it once you tell them where it is.

Technical data

Type: in-wall speaker, 3-way bass-reflex system with passive radiators (passive)

Drivers: 1× 25 mm aluminium tweeter, 2× 174 mm aluminium-titanium woofer, 2× passive radiators

Frequency range: 32–40,000 Hz

Crossover frequency: 3,000 Hz

Nominal impedance: 4–8 Ω

Power handling (nominal/music): 140 / 200 W

Sensitivity (2.83 V/1 m): 89.5 dB

Cutout (wall opening): 28.5 × 111 cm

Installation depth: 8.2 cm

Overall size incl. cover (W × H × D): 32.5 × 115 × 9.5 cm

Weight: 13 kg

Finish: silk-matte black, frameless fabric cover

Sales unit: 1 piece

Scope of delivery: in-wall speaker with frameless fabric cover, mounting set (brackets and screw set)

Frequently asked questions

How large does the wall opening for the Atelier InWall 11 need to be?

The cutout is 28.5 × 111 cm at 8.2 cm installation depth; with the cover, the speaker measures 32.5 × 115 × 9.5 cm. Plan the opening so it fits between the studs. We work this out beforehand on your floor plan.

Does the InWall 11 also fit a solid wall?

Yes, as long as the niche is prepared: 8.2 cm usable depth plus room for cables and terminals. In concrete or brick that means chasing or a false wall. We discuss exactly this preparation with you and your tradesperson before anyone reaches for the hammer drill.

What amplifier does the InWall 11 need?

It's passive and wants a stable amplifier: nominal impedance 4 to 8 ohms, 140 watts nominal and 200 watts music power handling. A solid stereo integrated amp or AV receiver with some headroom is entirely sufficient. We tell you what power your room actually needs, without padding it upward.

Do I get the InWall 11 singly or only as a pair?

Singly. Canton lists the Atelier InWall 11 as a single speaker, and that's how we sell it too – sales unit per piece. For stereo you order two, for a home-cinema front two plus the centre InWall 11 C. We put the list together for you.

Why buy the Canton Atelier InWall 11 from HD Zürisee?

Because with us you don't just get the panel, you get the planning around it: position, wall structure, cable routing, amplifier.
