bluesoundpulsemini2iwh
Bluesound Pulse Mini 2i Streaming Speaker, White (Each)

The Bluesound Pulse Mini 2i is a compact active streaming speaker with BluOS that combines two woofers, two tweeters and 100 watts of amplifier power in a slim housing.

In white, it stays visually understated and fits bright living spaces. Let's be honest: “Mini” makes you think of thin sound from a kitchen corner. The Pulse Mini 2i clears up that expectation and delivers full, clean tone that carries the room.

Why the Pulse Mini 2i?

Four drivers, a dual acoustic chamber and 100 watts in bi-amping – 40 watts per woofer, 10 watts per tweeter – add up to powerful sound with good depth in small to medium rooms. Through BluOS you get a wide range of music services, internet radio and your own files; a paid subscription is optional. If needed, you pair two Mini 2i speakers into a genuine stereo pair – so the system grows with you instead of locking you in.

What you get

Playback up to 24 bit / 192 kHz including MQA, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD in both directions, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Roon Ready. Plus dual-band Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, a 3.5mm combo input for analogue or optical sources, a USB-A port and a headphone output; voice control runs via Amazon Alexa. Everything is controlled through the BluOS app, which also keeps the firmware up to date. If you want to mount the speaker on the wall, reach for the Bluesound WM200 bracket.

Who is the Pulse Mini 2i for – and who isn't it for?

The versatile all-rounder for living rooms, bedrooms or home offices, and a sensible entry point into multiroom. If you want to fill large rooms loudly, the Pulse 2i serves you better – 150 watts and 40 hertz are a different league. To be fair: the Mini 2i builds on the proven 2i platform rather than the newest generation, and it needs a network. Sound-wise it remains convincing regardless.

Our verdict

The Pulse Mini 2i in white hits the sweet spot: compact, networked and more powerful than its size suggests. Which model and combination suit your room is something we're happy to work out with you – the HD Zürisee team's years of experience in Wädenswil save you a few detours along the way. For large rooms or high levels, the Pulse 2i is the stronger choice; for very small rooms a Pulse Flex is enough.

Can I use two Pulse Mini 2i as a stereo pair?

Yes. Through the BluOS app you pair two Mini 2i speakers into a separate stereo pair with left and right channels. That noticeably widens the soundstage. Alternatively, they keep playing individually in different rooms as part of a multiroom setup.

What's the difference between the Mini 2i and the Pulse 2i?

The Mini 2i is more compact, delivers 100 watts and reaches down to 50 hertz, while the Pulse 2i offers 150 watts, larger drivers and 40 hertz. The platform and feature set are largely the same – room size and desired volume are what decide it.

Can I connect headphones to the Pulse Mini 2i?

Yes, via the 3.5mm jack on the back; you adjust the volume in the BluOS app or on the device. Alternatively, you send audio over Bluetooth aptX HD to wireless headphones, since the Pulse Mini 2i handles Bluetooth in both directions.

Why order the Pulse Mini 2i from HD Zürisee?

Because the size has to match the room, and we'll tell you that without any sales pressure. In Wädenswil we advise you on choosing between the Pulse Flex, Mini 2i and Pulse 2i, plan the multiroom setup with you, and take care of installation, service and warranty with our own technician.

Goes well with

The WM200 wall bracket and more accessories can be found under All Accessories.
