bfly-audio-b-disc-pro-mk2
bFly-Audio b.Disc Pro MK2 – Absorber Washer 4-Pack

The bFly-Audio b.Disc Pro MK2 is a washer with an integrated absorber that decouples vibrations between spike and floor.

Sounds like a minor detail, but on laminate or parquet it makes an audible difference. Spikes couple your speaker rigidly to the surface – and vibrations happily travel from there back across the room into your system. That's exactly the path the b.Disc interrupts: put it under the spike, done, no unscrewing or rebuilding required.

Why the b.Disc Pro MK2?

The Pro MK2 version works in two layers: a disc made from the high-performance polymer Sorbothane® is cleanly separated from a cork-rubber ring by a film-like insert in purple. That separation of the two absorber layers is exactly what sets it apart from the simpler Basic disc. The body is made of aluminum, and on request a POM glider sits underneath – so you can nudge the speaker into place without scratching the floor.

What you hear

More calm in the sound, more three-dimensionality, a more cleanly drawn soundstage. Instead of microphonics and muddy bass, you get a defined, tidy sound. The b.Disc is versatile:

Under the spikes of floorstanding speakers and subwoofers

Under the feet of high-end components

Under rack spikes – vibrations never even reach the furniture

Who is the b.Disc Pro MK2 for – and who is it not for?

Ideal for anyone with floorstanding speakers, subwoofers, or high-end gear on a floor prone to vibration – laminate, parquet, sprung floors. Bottom line: an absorber is no miracle cure. It won't rescue a poorly set up room or a weak recording, and if you're on solid concrete with no resonance issues, the effect is smaller. And a single disc doesn't do anything – the b.Disc only works as a complete set under every contact point.

Which size fits my weight?

Match the b.Disc to the weight per contact point: size S up to 5 kg, M up to 12 kg, L up to 100 kg per piece. When in doubt, size up – that won't hurt the sound.

Do I need the b.Disc under the rack too?

It makes sense anywhere spikes transmit vibration – so under rack spikes too. That way vibrations never even make it into the furniture and from there into your gear.

Our verdict

The b.Disc Pro MK2 is one of the least spectacular upgrades on the shelf – and one of the most effective once the floor starts vibrating along. No tools, no rebuilding, two minutes of work, and the system sounds tidier. Hand on heart: when did you last turn so little effort into so much calm? That's why we sell the b.Disc Pro MK2 as a complete 4-pack, matched to your device's load in size S, M, or L – no guesswork at checkout. We're happy to work out which size fits your setup in person – by phone, email, or WhatsApp.

Technical data

Type: Washer with absorber, for decoupling under spikes and device feet

Construction: Sorbothane® disc, purple separator film, cork-rubber ring

Materials: Aluminum, cork rubber, special film, optional POM glider

Size S: Ø 37 mm × 10 mm height · rated up to 5 kg per piece · 4-pack CHF 140.00

Size M: Ø 42 mm × 11 mm height · rated up to 12 kg per piece · 4-pack CHF 168.00

Size L: Ø 55 mm × 13 mm height · rated up to 100 kg per piece · 4-pack CHF 248.00

Glider (optional): POM, selectable as a variant – surcharge CHF 7.00 per piece, i.e. CHF 28.00 for the 4-pack, add about 1 mm extra height

Color: Aluminum (silver) or black

Manufacturer: bFly-Audio, Germany

Warranty: 2 years

What's included: 4-pack = 4 pieces, in your chosen size (S/M/L), color, and with or without glider

Frequently asked questions

How many b.Disc Pro MK2 do I need?

Plan for at least three per device or speaker, or four for four contact points. That's why we offer the b.Disc Pro MK2 as a complete 4-pack – suited to most setups, selectable above in your preferred size. A single disc doesn't decouple properly – only the complete set under all spikes brings calm into the sound.

Which size do I need for my speakers?

What matters is the weight per contact point, not the total weight. Size S carries up to 5 kg, M up to 12 kg, and L up to 100 kg per piece. Divide your speaker's weight by the number of spikes. When in doubt, choose a size up – that won't hurt the sound.

Which floors benefit the most from the b.Disc?

Most noticeably on floors prone to vibration, like laminate, parquet, or sprung floors. There, spikes couple vibrations directly into the floor and back across the room into your system. On solid stone or concrete floors the effect is smaller, but doesn't disappear entirely.

Can I still move my speakers afterward?

Yes, just choose "with glider" among the options above – that costs a CHF 7.00 surcharge per piece, i.e. CHF 28.00 for the whole 4-pack. The POM glider sits on the underside and lets you fine-tune the speaker's position without scratching the floor. Plan for about one millimeter of extra height. Without the glider, the disc stays firmly in place.

Why buy the bFly-Audio b.Disc from HD Zürisee?

Because size and quantity depend on the weight per contact point and on your floor – and that's exactly what we work out with you, instead of leaving you to guess.
