bassocontinuo-eos-x-carbon-power-amp-stand
Bassocontinuo Eos X Carbon Power Amp Stand

The Bassocontinuo Eos X is a power-amp stand made of carbon fibre, built as a standalone element for a single power amplifier.

Developed by Christoph Nussbaumer, the Eos X relies on a sandwich construction of carbon fibre, high-density polyurethane foam and epoxy resin – a construction that deliberately combines rigidity and mass to keep away exactly the vibrations that a heavy power amp generates in operation. Decoupling is handled by viscoelastic materials. As with the larger Aeon X, you can choose between the Racing Black finish and the Le Mans anniversary edition with hand-stitched leather, each with a structure in Silver, Lead+Bronze or copper on request.

Who is the Eos X suited for?

The Eos X is the right choice for owners of a single monoblock or stereo power amplifier who want to give exactly that one component its own, extremely stable base. Anyone who needs to house several components on different tiers should go for the modular Aeon X.

Our verdict

A single-tier stand may seem simple at first glance – but the sandwich construction of carbon, foam and resin contains exactly the development work you'd expect from Bassocontinuo. A very well thought-out solution for a single, heavy power amplifier.

Technical data

Type: power-amp stand made of carbon fibre (1 tier, floor module)

Dimensions (W × D): 660 × 585 mm

Structure: sandwich construction of carbon fibre, high-density polyurethane foam and epoxy resin

Design: Christoph Nussbaumer

Decoupling: viscoelastic materials

Racing Black finish: CHF 3,525 (Silver) / CHF 3,480 (Lead+Bronze) / on request (Copper)

Le Mans finish: CHF 4,060 (Silver) / CHF 3,930 (Lead+Bronze) / on request (Copper)

Scope of delivery: 1x Bassocontinuo Eos X as configured

Frequently asked questions

What is the Eos X intended for?
The Eos X is a single-tier stand for one power amplifier.
