audio-desk-systeme-staubhaube
Audio Desk Systeme Dust Cover

The Audio Desk Systeme Dust Cover is the cover that protects your Vinyl Cleaner record washing machine from dust when it's not in use.

It simply slips over the machine and stays there until the next washing day comes around. The "Vinyl Cleaner premium" print on the front leaves no doubt about what's underneath.

Why a dust cover?

Because a record washing machine usually sits exactly where dust ends up: out in the open on the sideboard, on a shelf, next to the turntable. And because there'd be a certain irony if the very machine meant to keep records clean got dusty itself. The cover keeps the housing, fan openings, and insertion slot clean – with zero effort.

Who is the dust cover useful for?

For anyone who sets the machine up in plain sight and doesn't use it every day. Plain talk: if you store the machine in a cabinet, you can do without. If it lives permanently in your living space, though, the cover is the cheapest bit of value preservation you can buy.

Our verdict

It's already included with the Premium – but as a replacement or second one, it's often wanted, say when the first one has seen better days. No wear part, no maintenance, simply sensible. HD Zürisee in Wädenswil answers fit questions in two sentences.

Technical data

Function: dust protection for the machine at rest

Version: black, with "Vinyl Cleaner premium" print

Compatible with: Audio Desk Vinyl Cleaner (Premium / Pro / Pro X)

Wear part: no

Included: 1 dust cover

Frequently asked questions

Does the Vinyl Cleaner Premium come with a dust cover?

Yes, a dust cover is included with the Premium. This listing is for anyone who needs a second one or wants to replace their existing one – say after a move, or when the first one has gotten a bit worse for wear.

Can the machine stay under the cover if it's still damp?

Better not to. Let the machine air-dry openly after washing, and only put the cover on afterwards. Under a closed cover, residual moisture stays in the housing – and that's not what you want for electronics and seals.

Why buy the dust cover at HD Zürisee?

Because we carry the complete Audio Desk accessory range, not just the machine itself.
