argon-audio-berlin-sub-10-aktiv-subwoofer-weiss-stuck
Argon Audio Berlin Sub 10 Active Subwoofer, White (Each)

The Argon Audio Berlin Sub 10 is an active subwoofer with a 10-inch long-throw driver and 500 watts of Class D power (1200 W peak). The white finish adapts to bright rooms and visually recedes there, without any compromise to the bass foundation.

Why the Berlin Sub 10?

The down-firing driver radiates downward into the room, and the sealed MDF cabinet keeps the bass reflex tuning clean between 14 and 250 Hz. Crossover frequency, a 3-band notch EQ and a subsonic filter at 10 Hz can be set directly on the unit, so the sub adapts to the room and main speakers instead of overpowering them. EISA awarded the Berlin Sub 10 its Best Buy Award 2026/2027.

Technical specifications

Type: Active subwoofer, bass reflex, down-firing

Amplifier: Class D, 500 W RMS / 1200 W peak

Driver: 10" long-throw woofer

Frequency range: 14–250 Hz (± 6 dB)

Inputs: RCA (stereo), XLR (balanced)

Output: RCA (pass-through/daisy-chain)

Settings: crossover frequency 30–250 Hz, 3-band notch EQ, subsonic filter 10 Hz, delay 0–10 m

Firmware update: via USB-C

Dimensions (H×W×D): 34 × 30 × 30 cm

Weight: 13 kg

Standby consumption: < 0.5 W

Award: EISA Best Buy Award 2026/2027

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an amplifier with a sub-out for the Berlin Sub 10?

Ideally yes — via the line-level input at the sub output of your amplifier or preamp. If there's no dedicated sub-out, the Sub 10 can also be connected in parallel with the main speakers; we'll show you during a consultation which route suits your setup.

How do I set the crossover frequency and level correctly?

On the unit, you adjust the crossover frequency steplessly between 30 and 250 Hz. As a rule of thumb: set it just above the lower cutoff frequency of your main speakers, then fine-tune by ear. The 3-band notch EQ additionally corrects room-related bass peaks.

Why buy the Berlin Sub 10 from HD Zürisee?

Because the right setup determines whether a subwoofer succeeds. We advise you on placement, crossover frequency and level, and take care of installation if you'd like.
