The result: wireless playback that does justice to your system's digital input.

Who is the WTX1100 for?

For anyone with a high-quality DAC or amplifier with a good digital input who wants to make use of its conversion quality over Bluetooth too. If a simple analogue connection is enough for you, the WTX500 is the more affordable choice.

Our verdict

The consistent way to combine Bluetooth playback with the digital input of a high-quality system, instead of making compromises on the converter.

Technical data

Type: Bluetooth audio receiver

Codecs: aptX HD, AAC (CD quality)

Digital outputs: coaxial, optical

Headphone output: not available

Colour: Black

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an external DAC for the WTX1100?

Yes, the WTX1100 outputs the signal digitally – conversion is handled by the DAC in your amplifier or CD player.
